Trust but verify.

I believe that a true Tea Party believes in individual rights, the Constitution, The Bill of Rights as promoted in the founding of our country. I believe they are honest. The only problem with some so called Tea Party groups is they are a wolf in sheep’s wool. Be careful what group you belong to Trust but VERIFY

MCMM MEETING TUESDAY, MARCH 12TH, 2013

Our March 12th meeting will be held, as usual, at Fargos Cattle Co. in Zebulon, NC.  Come early, around 6pm and lets have dinner together and good fellowship.  Our regular meeting begins at 7pm.

Our speaker will be Mr. Gadi Adelman, a counter terrorism expert and advisor.  His parents moved to Israel at an early age and through his experiences, as well as time in the Israeli Army, he has become an expert in Middle Eastern Islamic ties and their unorthodox  religion.  Included below is a bio of Mr. Adelman.

Gadi Adelman

Born in the United States, Gadi Adelman moved to Israel with his family while still at an early age. One month after his 14th birthday, after attending a rally in Jerusalem on November 13, 1975 a terrorist bomb was detonated on Jaffa Road, Jerusalem’s main shopping street. Seven people were killed and 45 were injured. Those killed ranged in age from only 12 to 14. Gadi and a friend were only a few yards away and survived the blast.  Al Fatah’s and the Martyr George Haddad Unit of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) fought over credit for the murders.

Although he walked away without a scratch, the terror incident near cafe Naveh that evening caused emotional scars that would last for many years to come. Gadi started to study everything he could find in both English and Hebrew on terrorism and its causes.  In 1981 when Gadi returned to the United States he applied at various law enforcement agencies with the hopes of specializing in counter terrorism. During an interview with a government agency, the interviewer laughed at the ‘long term objective’ on his resume saying “This is America, we don’t have terrorism”!  Gadi told him to “wait ten years and remember the word Jihad”. Being called an “alarmist” or “nuts” didn’t deter him from continuing to study and talk to those that were willing and wanted to listen.

After 9/11, many of those who had called him crazy wanted his advice. Now, after 35 years of self study, Gadi has taught and lectured at various High Schools, Colleges and for law enforcement agencies. Today, he continues to lecture and speak publicly on Terrorism, Jihad, Sharia and Islam. He has been quoted by Michelle Malkin and Dr. Walid Phares, the Advisor to the Anti-Terrorism Caucus in the US House of Representatives, called his work ”Leading in the movement in the study of counter-terrorism”.

He writes weekly articles and is a weekly contributor for The Jerusalem Post and is a contributing editor for the Family Security Matters website as well as writing for Frontpage Magazine, Radical Islam, Faith for Freedom, Gold Coast Chronicle and Pronline news. His articles have appeared in dozens of publications and have been translated into several languages from Spanish to Vietnamese. He has his own weekly radio show “America Akbar” that can be heard on the Radio Jihad network on Blogtalk radio each Thursday night at 8PM eastern standard time and he co-hosts the Radio Jihad, a weekly internet radio program every Monday and Tuesday evening 6 – 7:30PM est.

Ms Donna Williams, who is running for Wake County Republican Party Chairman, will also be a speaker.

I urge everyone to attend this meeting; we must continue our efforts to fight liberalism and protect our constitutional way of life, that, as you know is under attack.

See you at the meeting.

Moccasin Creek Minutemen Monthly Meeting-February 12th

It’s that time again, our regular monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12th, 7pm, at Fargo Cattle Co., Zebulon, NC.  As usual, I ask that you come around 6pm to have fellowship, introduce yourself and have a good meal.

We have lots to discuss and we have a secret speaker that is very unique. He will be discussing the 2nd amendment and the Constitution; but his delivery will be with “fire & Brimestone”. Enough said, attend the meeting to hear him and to set an agenda for the Moccasin Creek patriots. We need to do more than have meetings; we need to get involved and that means you.

During the period between our last meeting and now we were instrumental in another patriot group being formed, this one in Johnston County.  Their first meeting had over 20 people and our first meeting four years ago had four or five people.  They are on the right track.  The TV stations wanted interviews with us but we declined; the newspapers wanted us to interview; we turned them down.  We were asked to be on a one hour talk radio show; we turned them down.  This is not what we are about, the 500/600 people that showed up was the story, it was not about the MCMM.  Once again, thanks for coming and I expect you to show up Tuesday night.

Don’t be surprised if one or more of the TV stations shows up; we will treat them with respect but you are the reason we exist.  Thanks for all that you do for your Country and God Bless.

See you at the meeting…………………………..

PS: Be sure to look at the Paul Harvey post; his comments in 1965 are now the norm in 2013.

“If I were the devil” by Paul Harvey

This audio was made around 1965 however it represents the status of our nation in 2013. I wonder if Paul Harvey was around today could he predict the next four years.

I REFUSE TO GIVE UP-DO YOU?

I don’t want to believe Rabbi Yeshurun comments but we are headed in that direction, for sure. Remember what Jimmy Valvano said when he was near death; “don’t give up, don’t quit”. I prefer to use Jimmy’s advice and keep up the fight and don’t give up and don’t quit.

Please take a moment to digest this provocative article by Rabbi Pruzansky from Teaneck, N.J. It is far and away the most succinct and thoughtful explanation of how our nation is changing. The article appeared in The Israel National News, and is directed to Jewish readership. 70% of American Jews vote as Democrats. The Rabbi has some interesting comments in that regard.

Rabbi Steven Pruzansky is the spiritual leader of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck, New Jersey.
————————————————————————————————————————————-
“The most charitable way of explaining the election results of 2012 is that Americans voted for the status quo – for the incumbent President and for a divided Congress. They must enjoy gridlock, partisanship, incompetence, economic stagnation and avoidance of responsibility. And fewer people voted.

But as we awake from the nightmare, it is important to eschew the facile explanations for the Romney defeat that will prevail among the chattering classes. Romney did not lose because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy that devastated this area, nor did he lose because he ran a poor campaign, nor did he lose because the Republicans could have chosen better candidates, nor did he lose because Obama benefited from a slight uptick in the economy due to the business cycle.
Romney lost because he didn’t get enough votes to win.

That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues – the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness – no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate.

The simplest reason why Romney lost was because it is impossible to compete against free stuff.

Every businessman knows this; that is why the “loss leader” or the giveaway is such a powerful marketing tool. Obama’s America is one in which free stuff is given away: the adults among the 47,000,000 on food stamps clearly recognized for whom they should vote, and so they did, by the tens of millions; those who – courtesy of Obama – receive two full years of unemployment benefits (which, of course, both disincentives looking for work and also motivates people to work off the books while collecting their windfall) surely know for whom to vote. The lure of free stuff is irresistible.

The defining moment of the whole campaign was the revelation of the secretly-recorded video in which Romney acknowledged the difficulty of winning an election in which “47% of the people” start off against him because they pay no taxes and just receive money – “free stuff” – from the government. Almost half of the population has no skin in the game – they don’t care about high taxes, promoting business, or creating jobs, nor do they care that the money for their free stuff is being borrowed from their children and from the Chinese. They just want the free stuff that comes their way at someone else’s expense. In the end, that 47% leaves very little margin for error for any Republican, and does not bode well for the future.

It is impossible to imagine a conservative candidate winning against such overwhelming odds. People do vote their pocketbooks. In essence, the people vote for a Congress who will not raise their taxes, and for a President who will give them free stuff, never mind who has to pay for it.

That engenders the second reason why Romney lost: the inescapable conclusion that the electorate is ignorant and uninformed. Indeed, it does not pay to be an informed voter, because most other voters – the clear majority – are unintelligent and easily swayed by emotion and raw populism. That is the indelicate way of saying that too many people vote with their hearts and not their heads. That is why Obama did not have to produce a second term agenda, or even defend his first-term record. He needed only to portray Mitt Romney as a rapacious capitalist who throws elderly women over a cliff, when he is not just snatching away their cancer medication, while starving the poor and cutting taxes for the rich.

During his 1956 presidential campaign, a woman called out to Adlai Stevenson: “Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!” Stevenson called back: “That’s not enough, madam, we need a majority!” Truer words were never spoken.

Obama could get away with saying that “Romney wants the rich to play by a different set of rules” – without ever defining what those different rules were; with saying that the “rich should pay their fair share” – without ever defining what a “fair share” is; with saying that Romney wants the poor, elderly and sick to “fend for themselves” – without even acknowledging that all these government programs are going bankrupt, their current insolvency only papered over by deficit spending.

Similarly, Obama (or his surrogates) could hint to blacks that a Romney victory would lead them back into chains and proclaim to women that their abortions and birth control would be taken away. He could appeal to Hispanics that Romney would have them all arrested and shipped to Mexico and unabashedly state that he will not enforce the current immigration laws. He could espouse the furtherance of the incestuous relationship between governments and unions – in which politicians ply the unions with public money, in exchange for which the unions provide the politicians with votes, in exchange for which the politicians provide more money and the unions provide more votes, etc., even though the money is gone.

Obama also knows that the electorate has changed – that whites will soon be a minority in America (they’re already a minority in California) and that the new immigrants to the US are primarily from the Third World and do not share the traditional American values that attracted immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a different world, and a different America. Obama is part of that different America, knows it, and knows how to tap into it. That is why he won.

Obama also proved again that negative advertising works, invective sells, and harsh personal attacks succeed. That Romney never engaged in such diatribes points to his essential goodness as a person; his “negative ads” were simple facts, never personal abuse – facts about high unemployment, lower take-home pay, a loss of American power and prestige abroad, a lack of leadership, etc. As a politician, though, Romney failed because he did not embrace the devil’s bargain of making unsustainable promises.

It turned out that it was not possible for Romney and Ryan – people of substance, depth and ideas – to compete with the shallow populism and platitudes of their opponents. Obama mastered the politics of envy – of class warfare – never reaching out to Americans as such but to individual groups, and cobbling together a winning majority from these minority groups. If an Obama could not be defeated – with his record and his vision of America, in which free stuff seduces voters – it is hard to envision any change in the future. The road to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and to a European-socialist economy – those very economies that are collapsing today in Europe – is paved.

For Jews, mostly assimilated anyway and staunch Democrats, the results demonstrate again that liberalism is their Torah. Almost 70% voted for a president widely perceived by Israelis and most committed Jews as hostile to Israel. They voted to secure Obama’s future at America’s expense and at Israel’s expense – in effect, preferring Obama to Netanyahu by a wide margin. A dangerous time is ahead. Under present circumstances, it is inconceivable that the US will take any aggressive action against Iran and will more likely thwart any Israeli initiative. The US will preach the importance of negotiations up until the production of the first Iranian nuclear weapon – and then state that the world must learn to live with this new reality.

But this election should be a wake-up call to Jews. There is no permanent empire, nor is there is an enduring haven for Jews anywhere in the exile. The American empire began to decline in 2007, and the deterioration has been exacerbated in the last five years. This election only hastens that decline. Society is permeated with sloth, greed, envy and materialistic excess. It has lost its moorings and its moral foundations. The takers outnumber the givers, and that will only increase in years to come. The “Occupy” riots across this country in the last two years were mere dress rehearsals for what lies ahead – years of unrest sparked by the increasing discontent of the unsuccessful who want to seize the fruits and the bounty of the successful, and do not appreciate the slow pace of redistribution.

If this election proves one thing, it is that the Old America is gone. And, sad for the world, it is not coming back.”

SHERIFFS ACROSS USA REFUSING TO ENFORCE UNCONSTITUTIONAL GUN LAWS

A number Of Nation’s Sheriffs Refusing To Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws Snowballs
From Florida to California, a growing number of the nation’s sheriffs are standing up to gun control measures proposed by both the administration and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).

Many law enforcement officials have written letters to President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden voicing their concerns over what they believe is an effort to infringe upon the Second Amendment.

In New Mexico, 30 of the state’s 33 county sheriffs have reminded state lawmakers that they are under oath to support the U.S. Constitution, and that includes the Second Amendment.

CNSNews.com previously reported that 28 of the 29 sheriff’s in Utah sent a letter to President Obama stating that they will not enforce any new gun laws they believe to be unconstitutional.

A host of Oregon sheriffs have said that they will not comply with any new unconstitutional gun regulations:

Sheriff Craig Zanni wrote, “I have and will continue to uphold my Oath of Office including supporting the Second Amendment,” in a letter to Coos County citizens.
Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin said he would refuse to enforce any new Federal gun law he believes is unconstitutional.
In a letter to Vice President Joe Biden, Grant County Sheriff, Glenn Palmer writes: “I will not tolerate nor will I permit any federal incursion within the exterior boundaries of Grant County, Oregon, where any type of gun control legislation aimed at disarming law -abiding citizens is the goal or objective.”
Sheriff Gil Gilbertson of Josephine County told Biden in a letter: “Any rule, regulation, or executive order repugnant to the constitutional rights of the citizens of this County will be ignored by this office.”
Sheriff Tim Mueller of Linn County, Oregon says his department will not participate in any overreaching and unconstitutional federal firearms restrictions.
In California, Sheriff Adam Christianson of Stanislaus County wrote to the vice president: “I refuse to take firearms from law abiding citizens and will not turn law-abiding citizens into criminals by enforcing useless gun control legislation.”

A letter sent to Sen. Dianne Feinstein from Sheriff Jon Lopey of Siskiyou County, California states: “Our founding fathers got it right and many politicians are getting it wrong.”

In Missouri, Lawrence County Sheriff Brad Delay tells the president: “I will…rise to the defense and aid of all Americans should the federal government attempt to enact any legislation, or executive order that impedes, erodes, or otherwise diminishes their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.”

At a town hall meeting, Sheriff Denny Peyman of Jackson County, Kentucky told citizens “you are never going to pull a gun from Jackson County.”

Smith County, Texas Sheriff, Larry Smith has said, “I will not enforce an unconstitutional law against any citizen in Smith County. It just won’t happen.”

In Florida, Martin County Sheriff, Bill Snyder said that he will not enforce federal gun laws: “Local law enforcement authorities are not empowered to enforce Federal law,” Snyder said.
